Storyline:

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I saw the trailer when it first came out months ago and I am so glad the movie lived up to expectations. I am a bit biased as I love Scotland and have visited the country many times but the story line was catching and well done. I didn't find the plot was too predictable or slow either. I found all the characters likable and fun and filled with genuine Scottish charm and ruggedness. The movie may be a bit long for younger children, my friend and I were sitting behind a couple with three kids in the theatre and the youngest one kept falling asleep and wanted to go home. I was hooked throughout the whole movie and I will certainly be buying it when it comes out on DVD.
